Один из способов тренировки силовой выносливости с ориентацией на боулдеринг – это система «4x4». Система предполагает лазание подряд 4 боулдеринговых трасс без отдыха между трассами. Важно подбирать достаточно тяжелые боулдеринги, лучше на нависании, но такие, которые вы сможете пролезть подряд без срывов. После прохождения 4 трасс подряд нужно отдыхать. Время отдыха должно быть равно времени, которые вы потратили на лазание. Например, вам понадобится полторы минуты на прохождение четырех трасс подряд, следовательно, затем вы отдыхаете эти самые полторы минуты и повторяете боулдеринги опять четыре раза. 4 трассы подряд это подход. 4 подхода (4 раза по 4 трассы подряд) это «серия». Затем 10-ти минутный отдых перед следующей «серией». Всего 4 «серии». Такая тренировка очень эффективна, а главное – веселая, американцы используют в основном эту систему, вместо популярных в Европе кругов. Система «4x4» даёт хорошие результаты как в боулдеринге, так и в трудности.
